Antinous for Everybody

For Leelah Alcorn

She left a note on her Tumblr saying that there was no way out. And even in mourning her death, her mother misgendered her.

For Leelah Alcorn, I will pour out cool water.

For Leelah Alcorn, I will light a candle in the darkness.

For Leelah Alcorn, I will pray.

  2. When I did the ritual of Sanctification, I also did the ancestor elevation prayers…I had not originally planned on doing that, but it seemed both appropriate and necessary in the case of Leelah Sancta.
